Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

By using Social Signal Swap, you agree to these terms. Please read them.

What Social Signal Swap is

Social Signal Swap is a cross-posting exchange where creators post videos, cross-post one another's content for exposure, and — for creators above the free tier — negotiate paid arrangements directly with each other. Social Signal Swap is a connection and coordination tool; it is not a talent agency, payment processor, or party to any deal you make with another creator.

Eligibility & account

Cross-posting & content

Paid deals & payment

Social Signal Swap does not process, hold, or guarantee any payment. Any budget, price, or offer shown on a drop is set by the creator posting it. When two creators agree to a paid arrangement, they negotiate and settle payment directly with one another, entirely outside of Social Signal Swap, using whichever payment links or handles the receiving creator has listed on their own profile (a Momentum-tier feature — Ripple creators only swap for free).

Once a paid deal is marked agreed, the paying creator can mark "I sent payment" and the receiving creator can separately mark "Confirm payment received." These are a record the two parties keep for themselves — not a real payment, not a real escrow account, and Social Signal Swap holds no funds and has no ability to move, release, refund, or guarantee any payment. This record exists so that if one side says they sent payment and the other says they never received it, there's something concrete for a report and any resulting review to point to. Any dispute over payment or a deal is ultimately between the two creators involved.

Reviews

Reviews and star ratings are submitted by creators about one another and reflect their own opinions. Social Signal Swap does not verify the accuracy of reviews. Don't post a review that's false, defamatory, or written in bad faith.

Reporting & enforcement

Any creator can report a video (drop) or a profile — for things like failing to post as agreed, not doing what was agreed, demanding payment after agreeing to a free swap, spamming, or impersonating someone (or being impersonated). Every report is reviewed.

Termination

You can stop using Social Signal Swap at any time. We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms, as described above.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Social Signal Swap is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the conduct of other creators, the outcome of any negotiation or paid deal, or content posted by users. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Social Signal Swap is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

This page is a general-purpose terms of service for how Social Signal Swap actually works today. It is not a substitute for legal advice — if you plan to operate Social Signal Swap at scale, especially given the paid-deal feature, consider having a lawyer review these terms.
